Farmall H tranny seals

Does anyone know if I can change the front two transmission seals (for the "power in" and secondary shafts) from the outside (through the lift-all cavity) without removing the top from the tranny on my 1945 H?

I've got a pretty steady leak from the top one that I didn't know about before my restoration and really don't want to tear it down again. The owner before me had what looked to be about 200 weight gear lube in it and now I know why.
