Don't know where your at, but here in Wisconsin you could buy a decent one from a private party for around $2,500 to $3,000. At auctions, they usually bring less. It would have to be really sharp to get $3,000 at an auction. In dealer ads, I've seen them advertised for up to $4,000-but I'm not sure they actually get that price.
