YI didn't need to use a tool to install the flywheel on mine. Heat the flywheel to about 300° using your gas grill and put the pin in the freezer for a couple of hours. It took 3 of us to put it on. 2 to install the flywheel and 1 to install the pin. It just slid on the shaft without using a hammer.
