I may be wrong, but I think the only difference between the injection pump of a 966 and a 1566 is how it is set, so essentially, by changing pumps, all he did is turn up the injection pump. I am not really sure what direction you should go with your 1206. I know our 806 was turned up to 105 horsepower with the stock IH RD injection pump and no turbo. I am sure someone else will have the info you seek. Is there a size restriction on the tires you can run at your pull? I am curious, because 1206's came from the factory with 18.4-38's stock. I read in one IH book that they used 38's because they had enough power to spin 34's off the rim and to tear the cords in the sidewalls when they hooked up. Don't see many 1206's in our area, though, so that may not be true. Good luck with your project.
