I did not try to shorten mine, but at the length I am satisfied with, that gives slight but not excessive sway, the stabilizer rods are about 30 inches center of hole to center of hole. The lower arms themselves are about 35.5 inches from the center of the front mounting pin to the center of the ball in the rear.
