STUCK UP H

I bought a 1950 H a few days ago and when I got her home I pulled her around the yard in 5th gear to make sure she was not locked up. she turned over fine and was puffing right alone, although I did not try to crank her up. Went out yesterday put on new battery an cables she would not turn over. I thought maybe starter,took it off and it worked fine.Come to find out she is locked up all of a sudden. Tryed rocking back and forth but she won"t give. What in the world happened.
