M Differential Oil Level for puller

Hey guys,

Did not get a responce in the pulling forum, so tell me what you guys think. I have read that you can lower the diff. oil level in a puller to drop some weight. However, I dont know how low that is. I have the oil drained down to the PTO level, but I dont know if that is too low. It is below the bearings, but the bull gears still almost half covered. Let me know what you guys do.
