Well as for fixing the cracked hole i have had many fixed and it sure did not cost a grand as it is and easy fix as all the has to be done is over bore that hole and install a heavy wall repair sleeve and bore it to take the stock sleeve as for the head they can be fixed but you also can find a better head . I don't know where you are from but if ya are in the Buckeye then you need to get to know Dan Roberts from Roberts Farm equipment as he is good people to know when one needs parts for a Farmall.
