I dunno, with 15.5's centered in the row, you have 14.5/2= 7.25 inches on each side. With only 4 inches you just have to keep the tractor centered in the rows, depends on the driver, also the type and size of the crop. I once knew a tractor driver that could run a rear mount Lilliston (rolling cultivator) within an inch or so of small grain sorghum plants. I tried to use the thing the way he had it set, and couldn't even set it down without breaking plants, much less drive it.
