M Gearing Options

Guys,

In trying to get my M Puller Setup, it is pretty clear that 4th gear is going to be way too slow for what I need in a pretty short time. So, in the near future I will probably be looking for an option to increase the tire speed.

I know that there is a 9 speed MW available, but after talking to another local puller I have learned that the higher gears are weaker and not good for pulling in a modified tractor. Also, I thought I had seen some option of a high/low MW transmission for an M. I am wondering if this is the same as the 9 speed or if there is something else out there.

The other option I have been told about is a rear gear swap with a W6. That option is probably the most viable. What I am wondering is if any of you know what the difference is in the gear ratios and what is required to swap the gears.
