I was pleased to see your enquiry being I recently purchased such an animal near Bozeman, MT. I was confused about the flat spoked wheels since I had not seen them in any pictures. I had been told they were "cutoffs", but, questioned this being the welding job is certainly good enough to be from the factory. The replies you have received certainly confirms what I was originally told. My H is apparently a 1943 (S/N 141707)and I am old enough to remember the shortages during those times.
