If you are wondering if M&W ever made a hand clutch using the brake shaft on the left drive pinion. I have never heard of one at all. Just Hs Ms and W4 and W6 series (To my knowledge). A hand clutch could be easily made to operate the standard clutch with a bit of planning. It would allow the normal clutch to be operated by hand. the use of a lever similar to a TA lever would work, latching it back to keep it from engaging. I think it would be useful only for someone who was having difficulty with the foot pedal. JimN
