I had an old I-H dealer that has been in the business for 50 years tell me to put the seal on and install it in a new position on either side of the groove made by the old one. I have used neophryne on several seal applications on H's and M and have great success with them. I install one seal. Some argue using two is better but I think you are just doubling your cost as one seal should seal properly..my opinion based on experience..Mike in Exeter Ontario
