The 2-way valve set up won't function correctly,unles you add a reservoir.Or use a very small cylinder.As Andrew z said I strongly agree.The best way to go by far is to run a pump off of P.T.O.The idea of speeding up the engine to increase speed of splitter,does not really work that well.Hardly much change in speed from idle to full throttle.It is much easier on your tractor to run pump off of P.T.O.I have messed with hydraulics on all kinds of stuff for too long to say.Good luck go P.T.O.
