Sounds like you have top off transmission already. If so drain oil remove PTO,belley pump and split tractor or remove drive shaft from clutch to trans underneath through pump hole.Remove input shaft housing with input shaft.Unbolt the 3 bolts that hold main or pinion shaft in,slide forward and remove keeping the shims to go back if using the same pinion.Remove brake return springs and linkage, remove brake spring return lever left side and clutch pedal.Remove any burs on shaft.slide brake pedals and shaft to right until the end is past counter shaft rear bearing.remove retaining ring from counter shaft at rear of bearing. The bearing needs to slide out of housing and off shaft to rear.Remove belley pump drive lug from front of shaft.Tip its best to loosen this nut before removing top trans shaft.lock in 2 gears to keep it from turning.drive lug is right hand threads.Next remove front retainer with seal, counter shaft slides to rear out of front bearing. Now if you hold your mouth right you can lift shaft out top with gears on it.Kind of long hope I didn't miss anything and good luck.
