Need more info , as like about how many ponys you are putting out ??? 250 lbs lock up pressure is fine for a regular farm tractor even if your running a littel over 250 hp. But now if you are running a charger and a turned up pump and pushen over the 250 mark then well it may have sliped you can add a pressure reg. springs from a 15 and bump the lock up pressure up to around 285-300 . But if you are maken some real good power out of it then the T /A will not hold and it is time for the big input shaft and NO T/A along with the lower countershaft support . As far as the 1086 i am not sure as to the problem there as i can not do some checking myself .
