As far as the rpms, mine is stamped very clearly 1815. Hal may be looking at the I&T manual, which does say 1875.
My Owner's Manual lists 1650 working rpm and 1815 no-load (which is the number on your serial plate. That's consistent with the A and B specs for the same block, where working rpm is 1400 and 1540 no-load. In both cases the no-load rpm is 110% of the working rating.
