My battery is mounted on a shop-built platform just ahead of the driver's right foot. The parts book shows the LH fender battery mounts for the industrials, and shows another battery support without any referance to where it goes... perhaps in that same location, but I can't be sure from the parts drawings. I do have the tool box in the RH fender. Also, there is an alternate set of fenders shown for a different wheel spacing that don't have the "pockets" in either of them.
