Worked on my BN charging problem. Cleaned grounds etc. Grounded the F terminal and nothing. Printed instructions John T posted that said to jump bat terminal on VR to A post of gen (I don't have the paper infront of me but I think that is what I did) and sure enough it charged great! I figure the VR is bad so took the top off and inside looked like brand new. Contacts are shiney and clean. Could it still be bad? Thanks This is how I wired it: 1. Gen F to VR F 2. Gen A to VR gen terminal on bottom 3. VR bat to ammeter 4. Ammeter to battery/starter 5. VR L to lights (lights work good)
