I used a 4x4 and some all-thread to pull a couple of them. Worked really easily. I used a small block to initially take up the space between the 4x4 and the end of the crankshaft. This placed all of the pulling force directly on the crankshaft, not on the bearings, retainers, etc. Once the flywheel started to move, the block was removed. Take the big nut off first.
