There are several major differences between the 350U and the 300U, engine size being only one of them. The 300U had the C169 engine, the 350U had the C175. The clutches were mounted differently with the 300U pivoting in front of the clutch and the 350U pivoting underneath the driver. The fast hitches were different. And there were a few other, less significant differences such as the stock steering wheel and of course the white accent paint (really decals) on the 350U.
