Super C Thermostat ..

I took out the thermostat from a Super C and it is the old fashioned bellows style held in by a wire clip. The upper part is thick and is holds the thermostat very well. I have a replacement style from CNH that the more modern type and is more like a flat disc. It is not going to be held in well when the clip is in it's groove. Too much space between the groove and the thermostat landing. The old one works and I am going to put it back in this SC but I have another SC here that didn't have a thermostat in it..
