I bought my Farmall Model A about 6 years ago to keep a field mowed, haul firewood, and clear the snow. It always did smoke a little. I would just have to clean #1 and #4 plugs now and then. Last week while cutting to field all of a sudden lost power and started to miss. I figured it was time to clean a plug again. Made it back to the barn checked all the plugs. #1 was wet but no carbon. #2 ok. #3 ok. #4 wet but again no carbon. I changed the plugs stared it up but the same problem. Changed plug wires same problem. I started it up and started to remove plug wires one at a time. I found out by leaving off plug wire #1 and #4 the engine ran smooth when I put either wire back on the miss came back with both wires on it ran real rough. Take off #1 & #4 wire the engine smoothed out again. I ran a compression test all cylinders were 95 lbs. thanks for any help
