Don't know what tractor this is on but 12v or 6v hot wire generally goes to the gauge from the switch and its just a ground wire between the gauge and sending unit. The hot voltage does not travel to the sending unit. When changing to neg ground you shouldn't have to change any wires,because the lead going to the gauge from the switch will automatically become pos.from the change you made at the battery. All gauges that I know of are ground to the sending unit from the gauge. And hot to the switch. Hope this makes scense. Inother words just change at the battery and leave the other wires as they were. Gary
