Well you might or might not have a problem. First off Reddog is right in line filters made for cars/trucks don't work well/long on a tractors because they are made to work with 7-15PSI of fuel preassure which you don't have. Now if your carb is full of gas, and you then dump your sediment bowl, then turn on the gas guess what happens. The sediment bowl will not fill up with gas. Why does it do that well it has no place to go because the needle in the carb is closed and you have air in the line and the gas will not push the air out till the float drops and the carb wants more gas. But if you still think thats a problem pull the drain plug from the carb and see what happens. If the line isn't clogged then you will see the sediment bowl fill with gas and then the filter till it gets just a very little junk in it and then you will have trouble. BTDT and I throw all of them away when I get a tractor in that has one on it
