Matt: I am not very familiar with the 454 and even less with 2400, however I do have some decent specs for 454 in front of me. The specs I have are from a 1975 buyers guide.

Model 454: 42.3 hp, 179 ci in diesel, 11" clutch, 8 forward-4 reverse synchromesh transmission, wet hydraulic disc brakes, Cat. II 3 point hitch, 540 and 1000 rpm pto. It doesn't say whether that pto is twin shaft like the larger Farmalls or two speed pto. I expect it is twin shaft. From the photo it has swept back front axle. That engine is European manufacture.

About the 2400, not positive, but I think it's older and completely US built.
