way back in 1900`s there was a man named champion who made and started the champion plug company. he had a son,and at his 21 birthday he was given one of the plug plants. the name of the plant was changed to "AC",,,named after the son.
ALBERT CHAMPION!
same plug just a different name, and now we know the rest of the story.
