LOOSE front spindles on 756

I borrowed a 756 from a neighbor because I was short a tractor and he told me it had a few "idiosyncracies". He was right. The front spindles are so loose that I can't run the tractor over 8 mph or the front wheels wobble so bad I am afraid something bad will happen. Is this a normal thing for 756's? I am totally new to IH's so have no experience with them. Is there a simple, cheap fix to this? Thanks for any replies,
