thanks for the replies. the float was out of adjustment. the fuel shut off soleniod had a bad connection. and I changed the in line fuel filter. Runs good now. Not sure what the problem was for sure.

As I grew older (7), it was the thrill of my day to ride or drive on the tractor. My Papaw had a 1954 IH Super A that he bought to replace a Cub.
