Marg. and I were out this morning before the sun got hot, tidying up the last of our weeding, "we hope". Needless to say my volumes dictate the old hand hoeing. We don't grow a lot of variety either, just what we cant get fresh at local markets. Sugar peas, green and yellow beans, onions, tomatoes, carrots, beets, cucumbers and hot peppers round out our list, and we have enough of that to do some trading. The guy I used to drive truck for is close by and he grows cabbage, sweet corn, broccoli, cauliflower and zichini. He loves sugar peas, beets and beans, keeps my bargaining power in order.
