Anyone out here willing to enlighten me on putting a 403 gas combine engine (C-263) in a 460d? I checked the old forum some but havn't gone through the entire list. Seems like I read that you have to switch the front plate becasue of a hydralic pump or something? will the one on the diesel work on the gas engine or do you have to find a front plate off a gas tractor engine? Are the flywheels the same or will the diesel flywheel fit on the gas engine? Is the combine engine sleeved or is that a non sleeved engine? You guys have always been super about dumb questions Thanks in advance.
