I think the valves you are talking about are flow restricter valves, they will allow full flow in one direction, but will restrict the flow when the oil is going the other direction. They would normally be installed to restrict the flow when the loader is being lowered. I don't think you need them. I'm not that familiar with a #33 loader, are the cylinders 2-way? If so, you still need to have a hose attached to the other end of the cylinder, and plumbed into the fill pipe of the belly pump to act as a return. This way the other end of the cylinder is being used as a reservoir for more hydraulic oil. Another thought, you might want to look over the hoses real good, make sure you don't have another restricter valve somewhere in the line. I might be interested in those restricter valves if you decide you don't need them.
