I bought a new gooseneck several years ago. It had Firestone tires on it. Since then it has carried too much weight for too many miles at too high speeds. The tires have been great. I suspect they have 30,000 miles on them with an average weight load of 10,000 lb., well within the gvw of the trailer. When it comes time to replace those tires, Firestones are going back on.
