there is probably no easy fix for this short of opening the frame rails to accept 3/4 bolts or finding a new casting but there are self locking thread forms available that you might research. http://www.emuge.com/taps/self-lock.html you basically need to open up the 3/4 tapped holes beyond 3/4 in order to make room for special inserts that could be tapped internal for 5/8. Machine shop services would be required to make these special inserts. I've not researched this thoroughly but it seems you might go with 1 inch external straight thread insert with 5/8 internal thread to accept the frame bolts. Bolster casting would be drilled and tapped for self locking internal thread to accept the inserts.
