Mike: I always use a lifting beam I made up to fit on my loader tractor. It is essentially two side by side prongs about 14 inches apart with small 1000 lb capacity wheels on the ends. I bought the wheels at TSC in Goderich. I first use the chain on the front of the loader to get them upright and then use the prongs to lift the duals into position. Once into position I rotate them freely on the hub to get the bolt holes lined up properly. Then I put the capscrews into the holes and tighten them up. Taking them off, I simply slide the chain clevis into the hole on the rim and gently snug up with the loader and chain. Then I remove the bolts with the chain snugly tight. Once all bolts are out, I just back up the loader tractor and the duals move off the hub freely. I do this for 20.8-R42 tires. Very safe procedure. No chance of getting hurt. Never, never manhandle big duals. Always use a loader , a chain and the lifting beam like I have to do it safely.
