Hydraulics lost

I have a Farmall H. The hydraulics have simply stopped working. I have a hose hooked up to a sickle bar grass cutter. Nothing unusual appears at the bar cutter cylinder or the hose. I filled up the system with fluid. Still, Pulling the hydraulic lever toward you does not activate the hydraulics on the cutter. Any ideas from you farmers out there? I am just a guy who bought a farmall recently and not very conversant with it yet, although I am mechanically competent..just not with tractors yet. I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.
