Old Bent Iron

Once again I come to the Oracles of IHC to gain Knowledge of things unknown(at least to me!)I have a 240 utility w/a 3pt.Fast Hitch on it, and I"ve purchased a new Implement for it.(A post hole auger,)I"ve Discovered that the Lift Arms are bent in about 1 1/2" So nothing Fits...24 1/2" spacing....So the Question,are these Hitches cast or forged???I don"t want to heat this thing and have it shatter while bending it back into shape..any ideas??? Thanks.
