After several months sitting, I finished up another project and got back to the Farmall 460D I rebuilt the starter and got it running again. Wed night I mowed about 3 acres of grass hay, then had to quit because the hydraulics went out. No steering, no lift on the Farmhand F-11 loader, no three point. I took what little hydraulic fluid I had on hand out there (a gallon or two) and it worked enough for me to get the tractor back to the shop. I figured the fluid was low from sitting. Today I put 7 gallons of fluid in it and ran the bucket up and down a few times, then nothing. I replaced the filter back last year when I learned the lesson about not taking the TA off going down hill (DUH) I got the IT manual out and I am looking that over. I guess I will start by pulling the filter again. Any suggestions?
