Hi Guys. I am in the process of changing the oil and filter on my Super A. THis will be the first time I have done it since I bought it. Prior to that I have no idea when it was changed. SO I bought the filter and oil from the IH dealer and am ready there. I drained the oil and while it was draining a bit of sludge came out. I reached my finger up in there to see if I could get more of it out. So I know there is SOME in there. NO idea how much of course. My question is do you think I should take the oil pan off and clean it out or would I ruin the gasket while doing that? I have some permatex gasket maker I could put on it to replace it then? ANy thoughts? Leave it be? Can you remove the pan without messing with the oil pump in there? I will be using the tractor to pull a NH 66 hay baler on a flat 10 acre field by my house sort of like a test of the baler more than anything.

How can I explain the sensation and exhilaration I feel when I turn the key and hear the engine come to life (most
