Gary: That is very reasonable, 1967 would have been 12 volt generator from the factory. I know my 140 is late 1963 model, one of the first to have 04-06 type grill. I have it written down somewhere,(cant lay my hands on it) but just a few hundred tractors after mine 12 volt was introduced. If you have the right operators manual for your particular 140, it will contain an excellent wiring diagram. IH operator manuals have always had good wiring diagrams, but with a tractor like the 140 that changed over the years, you must get the right manual for that particular year.
