Mike, a loader is(wow- you ARE new to this stuff aintcha...that's ok, everyone starts someplace) an attachment that goes on the front of the tractor. Maybe you're familiar with the payloaders they use in construction to put dirt into dumptrucks....a "loader" for a tractor is just an attachement that'll let you do the same thing. Basically in most cases it's a big hydraulically-operated scoop shovel used for digging and moving dirt, snow, etc., but also can be used for many other things from moving bales to pulling fenceposts to a scaffold to paint the side of yer barn. A really handy thing to have around, but not real common on "show" tractors so I'd guess you won't be wanting one. As for that ebay H, I'd say to go for it. I'd bet there's somebody with a "using" H who would think those rear wheels were the cat's meow and would swap ya for a set of stockers. Same deal with the wide/narrow front(although I'd ask for a little boot(extra money thrown in) on the front end trade since the wide one's worth more money. Heck, I have a narrow front I'd deal with ya on if you weren't so far away....but then if I was closer to ya I'd be bidding on that H myself!!! Good luck and keep us all posted!
