I doubt that it only has 2400 hrs. But what ever . i look at things like how much slop is on the clutch pedal and brake pedals how wobbly is the seat supenshion . How are the tires and sheet metal , cond. of the paint does all the lites work does it shift easy does the T/A work . Best way to check this is get it out on the road in high 4th wide open throttel and ride the brakes to load it down till it gets down to around 14-1600 RPM and pull the stick back but have your foot on the clutch as it just may stop dear in her tracks . As far as replacing the Hyd.pump that is a easy job once ya have the hyd. oil drained the pump is in the rearend housing on the lower left in front of the axel on the bottom and a hand full of bolts and it is off and out four more bolts and it is off the mounting plate a gskt and a couple o/ring and back on . 6 grand would be a fair price if it checks out . But if it has problems then that could be 4 grand tomuch . would be in your best intrest to take a good I H mechanic with ya and have him check it over and even if ya gave him a 100 buck it could be the best 100 buck ever spent.
