IH 856 stops running

I am having trouble keeping the 856 running. I am disking a field and the tractor runs fine for about 10 minutes. It then speeds up for a couple of seconds and then it loses power until it stops. Wait about 3 minutes starts up and repeats the cycle. Am I looking at a fuel filter, injector or pump?
