The "T" bracket on the bell housing of my 350 w/std steering is identical to the "T" bracket that my supplier thoughtfully included on the PS unit he shipped me. 6 bolts on the clutch/transmission casting, plus one into the mounting hole on the "T" bracket and she's in. Had to do some custom (manual) rebending of the steel return line, but that's in, too. Now all I need is that pressure line and the flow control valve and I'm back in business. Problem: Case-IH does NOT have the grease seal boots that connect the drag link tie rod ends to the rocker arms on the ne PS unit (we destroyed the old ones with the pickle fork. And there are TWO differnt part #'s! Depending on which drag link the tractor has! Evidently they sourced out to two different companies for the links. (How can I tell exactly WHICH one I have?) These seals (grease boots as I call them) ARE available on a complete new tie rod end (at $70 a PIECE!). Heck with that noise! I'm gonna find new seals at NAPA or go without! Any ideas?
