Amen to that. I had a 560 gas years ago that really gave me grief for a long time. The distributor cap looked like new. Replaced the wires, plugs, points & condenser, but it didn't help. Turned out the cap had a hairline crack in it that you had to look really close to see. The funny thing was that it would run not too bad when it was dry out, but on days when it rained or was real humid, I'd be lucky if it started at all and if it did, it would miss constantly. Given what turned out to be wrong, I guess that makes sense.
