Yes, it is the Narrow. I have had the mechanism that goes between the governor and the carb off, and I do have the "fingers" in the right place. When I adjust the throttle control, the butterfly in the carb rotates between fully closed and fully open (which sems right). It must not take being open very far to make her speed up. How would I check the machanisms inside the governor itself? This is the tractor that hoad not run in over 50 years until a month ago, so it is possible something could be gummed up in there. Could you let me know what you mean by "main spring on the arm" so I can look for that? Thanks as always!
