Yeah, the frequency of the scams on ebay seem to be increasing. I get at least one scam email a week. My favorite one was offering me a Farmall M for my opening bid of $1500 when I know it sold for $3000+. You see I bought a set of running gear from the seller a few days before the M went on ebay. I heard it run and we discussed a sale price on the spot $3000. So, I knew this was a scam. I then emailed the scammer back and asked him to deliver it to me and I would give him cash + extra cash for his effort. I asked him why he didn't just call me with the offer. He had my number... Things got real quiet.
