You probably won't be able to tell about the hyd pump seal on a quickie inspection, especially if you have a crafty seller. There is no timing chain or overhead cam on this engine, all gears & pushrods. If it has no TA, it probably has transmission (non-independent) PTO. Manual steering as others note, make the use of a loader a poor choice. Inspect the steering box for excessive play, leaking pitman arm seals, etc. these parts are high-wear & spendy. Not to say this isa bad tractor, though, just some stuff to look at. Happy Hunting!
