I used my neighbors 350 for a few minutes this weekend and found out it won't stay in 4th gear. It sayed in 5th gear and I didn't try any of the rest. It also locks in 2 gears very easily. It didn't feel like it went into gear all the way. Could the problem be the end of the shifter is worn enough to not put it all the way into gear or is there something wrong with 4th gear. Also what do you think such a tractor might be worth to buy. Its gas with narrow front end. Torque is gone, regular drawbar. Tires are near new and motor starts and runs well. Except for above problems remainder of tractor is in pretty good condition. I've got other Farmalls so I know about the cost of torque amplifiers.
