I have always used forma gasket tack spray its red in a spray can used for those type of aplications, Well I have always developed leaks also. The H I built last year got copper spray on it and so far so good but I only have about 10 hours on it. I have been also told by the guy at the dealer that has been working and maching on Ihs all his life that to use nothing. If its a aluminum or metal gasket on both sides that you dont need to put adheasave or retourque . But he says to use a little good quality teflon pipe dope on the studs that go into the water jackets. So I guess you deside. I AM NOT RETOURQING MY H THIS TIME. THEY DONT RETORQUE CARS AND TRUCKS DO THEY? The old cardboard or cork gaskets used to need it but like I said if its alum or metal on both sides then its suposed to be like the newer cars and trucks. Just my opionion.JON
